MBF MAKNA CHARITY CARD PROGRAM
Thank you for your tremendous support and generous donation throughout the years. I can never thank you enough for the sacrifice, devotion and contribution you have extended to us. With your help, the victims of cancer; patients such as Elisha Thovuud Guntingan from Penampang, Sabah gained new strength and new found hope or even a new life.
Elisha or as he call himself, “Baby Tarzan”, was diagnosed with Medullablastoma with Drop Metastosis in Cervical & Thoraric Spine. The vicious illness robbed this 10 year old boy of his eyesight. When all hopes were lost, he expressed his dying wish to visit the tip of Borneo. Fortunately, with your help, we were able to grant him this wish. Until now, this feisty “Baby Tarzan” is still alive and fighting hard to stay alive.
Recently, MBF Cards (M’sia) Sdn. Bhd. offered MAKNA their lending hand, by designing a unique method enabling MAKNA to receive continuous & sustainable funding through their Corporate Social Responsibility Program, at no additional cost to the donors. You can participate and help save lives, like Baby Tarzan.
The offer is simple. Just apply for the newly launched MBF MAKNA CHARITY CARD and you stand to enjoy the benefits of any modern credit card and support MAKNA’s cause, all at the same time. It is a credit card that is specially issued under the “MBF-MAKNA CHARITY CARD PROGRAM”. What’s special is that all cards issued under this program shall be embossed with the word MAKNA just beneath the cardholders’ name, and for every successful application, MAKNA will receive:
- RM40.00 for every principal card approved whether Platinum, Gold or Classic Card;
- RM20.00 for every principal card renewed upon payment of annual fee by the Card member;
- An additional contribution of 0.1% on all retail spending of the Principal and Supplementary MBF MAKNA CHARITY CARD shall be made to MAKNA.
*All these contributions shall be paid separately by MBF and will not in any way be charged to your Card, which shall then be used to help Cancer patients gain access to the much needed treatment.
